Accurate information is the whole point of AuRest. This page explains where our data comes from and how we keep it current.

Data sources

Venue locations, addresses, opening hours, cuisine and amenities are compiled from OpenStreetMap, an open, community-maintained map database (© OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database Licence).
Photos are sourced from the venues' own public websites and channels. Venues can ask us to replace or remove photos at any time.
Menu guides describe dishes typical of each cuisine to help diners plan. They are clearly labelled as indicative and are not a venue's official menu or pricing — we always link to official menus when available.
Popular times are estimates based on typical visit patterns for each type of venue and its opening hours. They are not live measurements.
Reviews are not collected or published by AuRest. We link to established review platforms instead.

If something is wrong, please contact us. Verified corrections are prioritised and usually published within 5 business days.

Ads are served by Google AdSense and are visually distinct from editorial content. Advertisers have no influence over listings or their order.
