About AuRest

AuRest is an independent guide to restaurants, cafés and pubs across Australia. We built it for one simple reason: finding out whether a place is open, where exactly it is and how to get there should take seconds, on any device.

What you'll find here

• A page for every venue with opening hours in local time and a live open/closed indicator, a Google map pinned to the exact location, directions via Google Maps, Apple Maps and Waze, photos, a menu guide and contact details.
• Location pages for every state, city and suburb, with all venues plotted on one interactive map.
• Cuisine pages so you can go straight to the food you're craving.

Independent and transparent

We are not affiliated with the venues we list and we don't accept payment for rankings. Listings are ordered by the completeness of their information, not by commercial relationships. The site is supported by advertising, which is always clearly separated from editorial content.
